A New Star is Born.

On May 21, 2010, the Greenstone-Inn had its grand opening. The summer was a successful one for the new Inn as well as for the traditional Viking's vacation rentals.
New comers may be confused by the many options now offered, so here's a quick summary:

• Greenstone Inn is the new motel, solared up and easy on the environment in many ways. New, beautiful and luxurious. Accommodations for two, four, or as many as eight.
  
• Pacific Crest Condos. Privately owned condo's in Pacific Crest available as Traditional Viking's rentals.
  
• Nye Sands Executive Suite. Privately owned condo in the Nye Sands. Penthouse style luxury.
  
• Nye Beach Honeymoon Suite. "Just for two" privacy.
  
• Family Beach Cottage. Last of the vintage beach cabins.
  

Rescue of the Little Linda

On Tuesday,Aug. 11, the Little Linda ran aground on Nye Beach at the foot of the old Viking's stairs. Three days latter she was towed out to sea, riding high. These are photos of the rescue.
